Resin flow slowing tape is a specialized auxiliary material used in the processes ofvacuum infusion of composites, which aims to control the rate of resin flow in the final phase of the process. Thanks to its unique design, it effectively limits the resin from entering the vacuum line, ensuring better saturation of the reinforcement and reducing material loss.
It is an indispensable component during the production of fiberglass and carbon fiber elements, especially in areas prone to too rapid resin flow.
The tape is intended for:
vacuum infusion of epoxy resins,
infusion of polyester and vinylester resins,
vacuum bag laminating,
production of fiberglass elements,
production of carbon fiber elements,
protection of the vacuum line from resin flooding,
control of resin flow on large laminate surfaces.
effectively slows down the flow of resin,
reduces material waste and decreases resin consumption,
prevents flooding of vacuum lines,
improves uniform saturation of the laminate,
does not restrict airflow and does not disrupt vacuum levels,
easy installation and removal after the process is completed,
increases the repeatability of the infusion process.
The tape has a special, multi-layer construction consisting of:
durable polyester nonwoven fabric,
spiral channel made of LDPE with a diameter of 10 mm,
thin separating film facilitating application.
This solution creates controlled flow resistance, allowing the resin to be distributed more evenly across the entire composite surface.

| Storage | from+5°C to +40°C |
| Recommended storage temperature | 10–25°C |
During vacuum infusion, too rapid resin flow can lead to it entering the vacuum system, causing material loss and degrading laminate quality. The tape effectively limits this effect, allowing for fuller saturation of fibers and better control of the entire process.
It works particularly well with complex molds, sharp corners, and areas with high reinforcement density, where controlling resin flow is crucial.
For best results, it is recommended to mount the tape on the mold flange or in the resin intake zone. It should not be placed directly on the infusion mesh or cut into short sections, as this may reduce its effectiveness.
Resin flow slowing tape is a practical solution that enhances the safety of the infusion process, reduces material waste, and improves the quality of finished composite elements.
