MTI® Spiral Tube (Membrane Tube Infusion) is an innovative component of vacuum resin infusion systems, designed to achieve maximum laminate quality and full control over resin flow. By using a special air-permeable membrane
that retains the resin, it effectively eliminates the risk of flooding the vacuum line and the formation of dry spots in the laminate.
The MTI® system allows for uniform venting of the entire mold while directing the resin to areas that require further saturation, significantly improving the quality of the finished composite parts.
The MTI® spiral tube is used in:
vacuum infusion of epoxy resins,
infusion of polyester resins,
production of fiberglass components,
production of carbon fiber components,
boat and yacht construction,
aerospace industry,
automotive industry,
production of large and complex composite parts.
The tube consists of three cooperating layers:
a spiral transport tube,
polyester nonwoven,
a special polyurethane membrane that allows air to pass through.
During the infusion process, air freely passes through the membrane to the vacuum system, while the resin is retained on its surface. This prevents it from entering the vacuum line, directing it instead to areas requiring further saturation, ensuring complete impregnation of the reinforcement.
prevents resin from entering the vacuum line,
ensures fuller saturation of the laminate,
eliminates the risk of dry spots,
increases the quality and repeatability of the infusion process,
reduces resin waste,
allows for easier monitoring of the process,
can replace traditional infusion spirals and vacuum media.

The MTI® tube provides greater control over the infusion process and significantly reduces the risk of technological errors. Thanks to the intelligent membrane, the resin remains in the laminate instead of entering the vacuum system, leading to lower material consumption and higher quality finished components.
This solution is particularly recommended for large surfaces and complex geometries, where traditional suction systems may cause uneven reinforcement saturation.
Before starting the process, check the condition of the membrane and the correct placement of the tube. The seam of the membrane should face
the mold. To maintain optimal properties, it is recommended to store the product in a dry place at a temperature of10–20°C and unpack it a few hours before use.
The MTI® spiral tube is a modern solution for professional Vacuum Infusion technology that increases process efficiency, reduces resin waste, and allows for laminates of the highest quality.
